Birch Polypore.
Another medicinal power house of a mushroom that has been utilised for thousands of years! BP is very common and as the name suggests is found growing on dead or damaged Birch trees.
The best way to enjoy the benefits of this medicine is to slice it up into thin strips, then dry them out to store. You then will be left with tea to keep you powered up though the winter!
It can also be crafted into an extremely efficient, antiseptic, antifunal, antiinflammatory and microporous plaster that will promote healing to the wound as well as protection.
