Pink Wood Sorrel

Beautiful Pink Wood Sorrel!
I love sorrels, they have such a wonderful flavour that reminds me of apple skin and citrus. The flowers are in full bloom now and I find it so satisfying to eat such a delicious flower.

The whole flowering plant is used to make medicine. Wood sorrel can be taken to treat liver and digestive disorders, a condition caused by lack of vitamin C scurvy, wounds, and swollen gums.

There is a large variety of sorrels, I urge you to hunt down as many as you can!

Scientific name: Oxalis articulata

Happy foraging!!
